JACKSON TWP Six names will join the Seneca Valley Athletic Hall of Fame during its 2009 induction ceremony May 16 at the high school.

This year's inductees are Wayne Bloom, Beth Black, Richard "Dick" Lane, Dave Florie, Dennis Britt and the late Norman McMurray.

Britt, Bloom and Black were stellar athletes in football, wrestling and track and field, respectively. Florie and Lane were coaches who established the model for character in running a program at Seneca Valley.

McMurray is being inducted posthumously for his outstanding commitment to supporting Seneca Valley athletics for more than 45 years.

Tickets for the banquet will be on sale starting April 16 at a cost of $20 per seat. Tickets will be sold between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the high school athletic office.

Individuals unable to attend can still support the Hall of Fame inductions with a sponsorship note in the program for $20.
