Slippery Rock High's Morgan Robinson struck out 11 while pitching a no-hitter in a 3-0 softball win over visiting Franklin Thursday.

Robinson, who walked eight batters, had one of the Rockets' three doubles.

In other games:

• Madison Rotto struck out six in five innings as Freeport clobbered Valley 11-1 in an abbreviated contest.

• Despite outhitting Indiana 13-4, Knoch fell 4-3.

Amanda Sheppeck had three base hits for the Knights (2-2, 0-1)
