Mary A. McVickers
Mary Agnes McVickers, 91, of Zelienople died Wednesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.
Born July 21, 1917, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Catherine (Hubbard) Hannan.
Mrs. McVickers was a member of the Seaman Memorial Chapel at Passavant Retirement Community, where she served the Lord as an usher and organist.
Her time at Passavant was the happiest 15 years of her life. She was social at Passavant and liked to play cards.
Mrs. McVickers was proud to be an industrial nurse for the Weirton Steel Corp., where she retired in the late 1970s.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen L. Mentzer and her husband, Jim, of Coraopolis and Jill Graham Schmidlkofer of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a son, Dr. Eric A. Graham, D.D.S. and his wife, Christine, of Greensburg; a stepson, Stewart McVickers Jr. of Largo, Fla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart McVickers; and brothers and sisters.
