F. Elaine Silberberg

F. Elaine Lotz Silberberg, 82, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Evans City, died Wednesday evening at her home.

Born Feb. 19, 1927, in Evans City, she was the daughter of Elmer and Florence Wahl Lotz.

She was a member of the Preston Meadow Lutheran Church, where she was active in the OWLS Group and Souls Stitchers.

Elaine enjoyed playing cards and her numerous bridge clubs. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

She is survived by a daughter, Beth Ann (Jamie) Apt of Plano,Texas; a son, George (Susan) Silberberg of Arcadia, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Beverly Lotz of Cincinnati; six grandchildren, David, Debbie and Diane Silberberg, and Michael, Ellen and Mary Kate Apt; a nephew, Mark Lotz of Cincinnati; and a niece, Beverly Lotz of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene W. Silberberg on Aug. 3, 1996, and a brother.

<B>SILBERBERG</B> — Friends and relatives of F. Elaine Silberberg, who died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home,</B> 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev.
