"Spirituality of Rock," landscape painting and sculpture by artist Doug Wynn, is being shown in the Mary Hulton Phillips Art Gallery located off the Succop Theater lobby. The display continues through April 3 during gallery hours.

This show is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and noon to 2 p.m. Fridays. The gallery is also open during the evening when there are performances in the Succop Theater.

• There will be light through the glass Saturday when the SRU music department presents its annual "Prism" scholarship concert at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Auditorium.The concert will include the SRU Jazz Ensemble, with a solo performance by ensemble director Stephen Hawk, professor of music. The SRU Brass Ensemble and SRU Wind Ensemble, both directed by Brian Meixner, assistant professor of music, will also perform.Various student jazz combos will entertain in the lobby before and after the concert.Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.•Rabbi Baruch Goldstein, who was 16 in 1939 when the Nazis invaded Poland and for the next three years watched his family be scattered and killed throughout the Nazi empire, will deliver a lecture titled "In the Midst of Good and Evil: A Survivor's Account of Auschwitz" at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Miller Auditorium.

• Westminster will host Horacio Castellanos Moya, acclaimed Latin American author, at 7 p.m. tonight in the Sebastian Mueller Theater at the McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free. Call 724-946-7263.• Westminster will host children's author Greg Tang for a one-hour math workshop at 7 p.m. tonight in the Witherspoon Maple Room of the McKelvey Campus Center. Tang is the author of "The Grapes of Math," "Math for All Seasons," "The Best of Times," "Math-terpieces" and "Math Potatoes." A book signing will follow the workshop.Space is limited to 200 guests.
