Leeson, Houtz
Heather Leeson and Harvey Houtz Jr. were united in marriage June 21 at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. The Rev. John McCloskey officiated. A reception followed at the Summit Township Sportsman's Club.
The bride is the daughter of Catherine Leeson of Butler and the late John Leeson. Parents of the bridegroom are Pearl Houtz of Cabot and the late Harvey Houtz.
The honor attendant was Tonya Leeson of Butler. Bridesmaids included Jennifer Leeson of Slippery Rock and Tammy Houtz of Cabot. Carlie Houtz of Worthington served as miniature bride and Destiny Houtz of Worthington served as flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was Charles Leeson Sr. of Butler. Ushers included Michael VanTine of Butler and Henry Houtz of Cabot. Miniature groom was Jonathan Houtz of Worthington and ring bearer was Charles Leeson Jr. of Butler.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Butler High School and Butler Vocational Technical School. She works for Trader Horn in Butler.
The bridegroom works for the Stoney Hollow Nursery in Worthington.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hideaway Cottages, the Houtzes are making their home in Worthington.
