PITTSBURGH — Officials say a man who set himself on fire in a confrontation with police has died of burns.

Levi Mohney, 24, died Thursday at a burn center. Police say he confronted troopers the day before at the mobile home of his former girlfriend at Strattanville, Clarion County. The woman called police three times. Police said Mohney was holding a bottle of flammable liquid and a lighter when troopers entered the home. Police said Mohney refused to surrender and when troopers used a stun gun, he ignited himself.
