Mary C. Hoover, 80, of Evans City died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler.

Born Dec. 20, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Amelio and Carmella Venuto Coscia.

Mrs. Hoover was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church, Evans City, and St. Matthias Christian Mothers. She also was a member of the Keenagers in Portersville and the AARP Mars Chapter.

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica L. Hoover of Evans City; a brother, Alexander J. Coscia of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Viola T. Coscia of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hoover, who died Nov. 15, 1985.

<B>HOOVER</B> — Friends of Mary C. Hoover, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father William J. Ritzert officiating. Burial will be in St. Gregory Cemetery, Zelienople.Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or to the Butler County Association for the Blind, P.O.
