Jean M. Schultz
Jean M. Steinhauser Schultz, 92, of the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople, formerly of Cranberry and Marshall townships, died Monday afternoon at Passavant.
Born May 19, 1916, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Ida Diehl Steinhauser.
Mrs. Schultz and her husband had owned and operated the Admiral Perry Motel in Marshall Township for years.
She was a longtime member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township, where she was the organist for 25 years and also was active in the choir. She also belonged to the Cranberry and Wexford AARP groups and had been active with the Cranberry Seniors.
Surviving are three daughters, Joanne McDonald and her husband, David, of Baden, Janis Scalone of Mantua, Ohio, and June Moore and her husband, Thomas, of Saxonburg; and a son, John Schultz of Alpharetta, Ga. She was grandmother of Tanya Ward, Erik and Kelly McDonald and Christine Foley; and great-grandmother of Ashley Blazczak, Grace and Jackson Ward and Robert and Wesley Duckett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J. Schultz Sr.; a son, Alfred J. "Buddy" Schultz Jr.; and by three brothers and one sister.

Steinhauser Schultz, who died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Richard Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, with the Rev. Kenneth Oldenski, pastor, officiating.
