Florence E. Miller
Florence E. Miller, 84, of Tidball Avenue, Grove City, died at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday at the Grove City Medical Center.
Born in Butler, Aug. 19, 1924, she was the daughter of Joseph Hartman and Matilda (Hohage) Hartman.
A 1942 graduate of Penn Township High School, she retired from the Grove City School District as a custodian after more than 20 years.
She was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church of Harrisville.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lou Church and her husband, Jerry E., of Stoneboro and Betty J. Kildoo and her husband, Donald E., of Grove City; a granddaughter, Amy S. Luman and her husband, Jon, of Baltimore; a grandson, Kent W. Kildoo and his wife, Dana, of Grove City; a sister, Wilda Grabe of Butler; a brother, James Hartman and his wife, Doris, of Butler; and two very special children, Zach and Erika Cyphert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Wade Miller, whom she married Oct. 15, 1946. He died Jan. 27, 1976. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis Hartman, John Hartman and Joseph Hartman.
<B>MILLER</B> — Private visitation and services for Florence E. Miller, who died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, were held Friday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, Harrisville. Pastor John B. Miolton, assistant pastor of the Slippery Rock Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Glade Run Cemetery, Middlesex Township.Memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Fund of Slippery Rock Baptist Church, 435 Kiester Road, Slippery Rock PA 16057 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
