Mary Lou Hutchinson
Mary Lou Hutchinson, 84, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, died Wednesday at The Lodge Care Center in Loveland, Ohio.
She was born Aug. 12, 1924, in Allegheny County to Robert M. and Ruth E. (Graham) Leslie. Both are deceased.
She married David G. Hutchinson II on Aug. 28, 1942, in Zelienople, and he died June 25, 1971.
Mary Lou is survived by three sons, James Michael (Carol) Hutchinson of Franklin, Tenn., Kevin (Pat) Hutchinson of Benton, Ark., and Scott (Rose) Hutchinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three daughters, Susan (Dennis) Girolami of Mainville, Ohio, Kathleen "Kitty" Hutchinson of Alexandria, Va., and Kelly (Eric) Tuokkola of Lorain, Ohio. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and and 10 great-grandchildren. Mary Lou is survived by five sisters, Barb Moore of Upper Sandusky, Judy Williams and Linda Hayes, both of Bedford, Pa., Carol Green of Xenia, Ohio, and Donna Gohlke of Findlay, Ohio; and two daughters-in- law, Susan Kay Hutchinson of Upper Sandusky and June Watts of Marion, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David G. III and Timothy R.; a grandson, Bobby Dow Hutchinson; a brother, Robert Leslie; and a sister, Eleanor Stansbery.
Mary Lou was a homemaker and served as a receptionist for the Wyandot County (Ohio) Senior Citizens for 17 years.
She was a member of the Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky and Epsilon Mothers Club in Upper Sandusky.
For hobbies, she enjoyed going to Bible studies, doing crossword puzzles and reading, especially history; and she loved to share a cup of tea with family and friends. In earlier years, she enjoyed camping with her children at Lake Erie, and she later traveled with her sister, Barbara, to Hawaii.
<B>HUTCHINSON</B> — Visitation for Mary Lou Hutchinson, who died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Lucas-Batton Funeral Home</B>, Upper Sandusky. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Robert Dendinger officiating.
