Catherine Virginia Smoyer Robb, 94, of Butler died Feb. 5.

Born March 1, 1914, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Clara Mae Winters Smoyer.

She was a graduate of Butler High School and The Butler Business College.

She was a life member of the First United Methodist Church in Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 78 years, John McLure Robb, who died Jan. 3, 2007.

A loving mother of three sons, she is survived by John William Robb and his wife, Nancy, of Naples, Fla., James Nelson Robb and his wife, Therese, of Corry, Pa., and David Bruce Robb of Key West, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
