Works needed for multiple shows

Two shows coming up at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., are looking for artists to display their work.

The first show, "Inspirational Religious Art Exhibit," will open April 3. This nonjuried art exhibit open to all artists will celebrate the common values people share and the hope for mankind faith provides.

The second show, which opens April 17, will be "Paper or Plastic? The Green Show." This will be a juried exhibit with a $250 cash award for Best of Show. Earth Day is April 22, so artists are asked to join in the "great debate" about paper or plastic.

All media will be accepted for both shows, including digital art, photography, oil/acrylic, watercolor, sculpture, pen and ink, pastel/charcoal, clay, fiber arts and mixed media.

Interested artists can call 724-283-6922 or visit the Associated Artists of Butler County Web site at www.TheArtCenterButlerPa.org for additional information and entry forms.
