Phyllis A. Nesbitt
Phyllis A. Nesbitt, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, 73, of Zelienople died Tuesday at the St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.
Born March 30, 1935, in Callery, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Emma G. Sommerville Benn.
Mrs. Nesbitt attended Evans City High School and worked as a barmaid for several food and beverage establishments.
Phyllis enjoyed her children, grandchildren, many friends, (Gretchen), bowling, camping, bingo and summer days in her backyard sharing laughter with her beloved family and friends.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 474, Zelienople, and the Hungarian Club.
Phyllis will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two sons, John Nesbitt and his wife, Emma, of Zelienople and Louis Nesbitt and his wife, Lori, of Zelienople; three daughters, Kandy Johnston and her husband, David, of Renfrew, Marilyn Adams and her husband, Bill, of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Arlena McCoy and her husband, Brad, of Beloit, Ohio; a sister, Gladys Brandt of New Kensington; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Nesbitt; a daughter, Debra Lee Gallaher; three brothers, Clyde, Harold and Clayton Benn; and a sister, Redella Barkey.
