Buckham

Betty Jane Buckham, 86, of East Water Street, Slippery Rock, died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, Mercer County, following a brief illness.

Born in Butler, March 4, 1922, she was the daughter of William McQuiston and Etta Weaver McQuiston.

Her husband, Harry Cordell Buckham Jr., preceded her in death July 6, 1973.

Mrs. Buckham was a homemaker and a member of the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry L. Buckham of Toronto, Canada, and Harry "Corky" and Donna Buckham III of Bradford. Also surviving are four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Sandra Klann; two brothers, Bill and Harry; and five sisters, Dorothy, Ruth, Thelma, Helen and Pearl.

<B>BUCKHAM </B>— Visitation for Betty Jane Buckham, who died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home,</B> 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the North Cemetery Butler.
