G. Donald Kraus, 87, of Hampton Township, died Sunday.

He was the son of George and Mildred Kutzmann Kraus.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh as an electrical engineer.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed helping family and friends with home improvements.

He was the beloved husband of Sylvia Dahlinger Kraus; father of Mark Kraus (Kelly) of Washington, Lynn Beck (Jim) of Butler, and Karen Grant (Gary) of Florida; grandfather of Andrew Neil Kraus; brother of Norine McCarty and Maryann Hylton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
