Jean Marie Ritzert Peters, 58, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, May 16, 1950, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Rosemary Strobel Hamilton.

She was employed for the past 10 years as a cook at the Eat 'n Park Restaurant on New Castle Road. She formerly was a cook in the Hostess Shop at Butler Memorial Hospital and at Linda's Restaurant on Center Avenue.

She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Peters; one son, Bryan Ritzert of Saxonburg; one stepdaughter, Kayla Peters of Florida; three brothers, Francis Hamilton of Butler, Harold Hamilton of Butler and Gerry Hamilton of Fenelton; two sisters, Mary Hamilton of Butler and Vickie Beck of Florida; and one granddaughter, Catrina Ritzert of Saxonburg.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Ritzert; and one brother, Robert Hamilton.
