Eva Mae Gallagher

Eva Mae Gallagher, 77, of Prospect died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 29, 1931, in Prospect and was the daughter of Everett Archie and Opal Grimm Fitzgerald.

She attended the North Main Street Church of God in Butler.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1949, and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Gallagher, whom she married Aug. 19, 1949; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Jordan of Fort Worth, Texas, and Amy Gallagher of Butler; three sons, William Gallagher and his wife, Donna, of New Castle, Bruce Gallagher and his wife, Carolyn, of Portersville and David Gallagher of Prospect; two granddaughters, Calli Jordan Geair and Kerri Ryan and her husband, Scott, of Florida; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Mae Ryan; and also by a daughter adopted in her heart, Joyce Ballew of Prospect.

She was preceded by a sister, Norma Allen, and a brother, David Fitzgerald.

<B>GALLAGHER</B> — Visitation for Eva Mae Gallagher, who died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B>, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brown of the North Main Street Church of God officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Main Street Church of God in Butler.
