10 things you must tell your primary physician
Have you and your spouse stopped having sexual relations? Are you using the right protection to avoid serious illness?
Now, about your job. Are you happy in it?
And what about your financial situation? Strapped for cash?
You must — MUST — divulge these and other personal aspects of your life to your doctor.
So says Dr. Bernard Kaminetsky, medical director of MDVIP, a national network of affiliated primary care physicians.
The list:
1. Over-the-counter meds you are taking
2. All of your ailments, not just the ones for which you are visiting the doctor
3. Sleep habits
4. Depressed?
5. Your sexual habits
6. What's happening at the office?
7. How happy are you with your spouse, lover or children?
8. What is your financial situation?
9. If you are always tired
10. Your hobbies.
