Pittsburgh to open 24-bed curfew center
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh is opening a 24-bed curfew center on May 4, more than four years after budget cuts forced the closure of a little-used facility downtown.
Police say they'll step up curfew enforcement during the school year once the center opens. The city's curfew is 10 p.m. weekdays and midnight on weekends.
Children 16 and under will be taken to the center after one warning.
