John R. George Jr., 47, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away Tuesday at Forum Health Northside Hospital in Ohio.

John was born Aug. 30, 1961, in Butler, a son of John R. Sr. and Norma J. Snow George, and came to Hubbard in 1990.

He was a subcontractor for many years in the construction industry and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Sheryl J. Schneibel, whom he married Aug. 15, 1980; and his children, Carla Morrow of Youngstown, Ohio, Ronald (Amanda) Morrow of Niles, Ohio, John R. George of Niles, Sheryl A. George of Youngstown, and Nancy George and Rachel George, both of Hubbard; and nine grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, Paul George of Youngstown, and Carl George of Struthers, Ohio; and a sister, Norma J. George of Youngstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Tammy George; and a grandson, Trenton George.
