Kathy Thompson and Jim Smith

An Oct. 10 wedding is being planned by Kathy Thompson and Jim Smith, both of Indiana, Pa.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joe and Linda Crawford of Brooksville, Fla., and Dennis and Mary Lou Thompson of Karns City. Mother of the prospective bridegroom is Donna Smith of Indiana.

The bride-elect is a 1990 graduate of Karns City High School and a 1999 graduate of Butler County Community College. She works for Dialysis Corp.

Her fiancé graduated in 1988 from Indiana High School.
