Lyndora to many is a community just outside of Butler. But to Marty Tack, it is the source of his rare collection. Through the years, Tack found out that "Everybody has a nickname in Lyndora."

Many of the nicknames were given to immigrants with names that were difficult to pronounce, and from there, many just got them for fun.

He decided this trove of nicknames should to be collected, so he recorded them in a notebook alphabetically. The names total 237 so far.
