The Union girls basketball team raced out to a 48-21 halftime lead and cruised to a 70-37 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference victory over Karns City Friday.

Lanae Cicciarelli had 19 points, Tina Lipps 13 and Courtney Frederick 12 to pace the Damsels (13-6, 11-4).

Ashley Campbell had a game-high 22 points, including 14-of-18 from the free-throw line, for Karns City (4-13, 4-10).
