Golden Knights tear through KC

Scott Booth had 24 points and 13 rebounds, and Logan Mortimer had 20 points as the Union boys basketball team rolled to a 78-45 KSAC victory over Karns City Thursday.

The Golden Knights jumped out to a 45-23 lead at halftime, then increased it to 68-33 after three quarters.

Union (12-8, 11-6) also received 11 points and 10 rebounds fromNeil Scott, and nine points and five assists from Zac Smith.

Karns City (3-12, 3-11), which had 10 different players reach the scoring column, received 12 points from Brandon Collier.
