Kim D. Habbyshaw, 50, of 323 Crestview Road. Slippery Rock, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She had been diagnosed with appendiceal cancer 10 months ago.

Born in Mercer, Nov. 6, 1958, she was the daughter of Richard and Lyla Lee Shuffstal Ryder.

She is survived by her husband, Pastor Eugene Habbyshaw II, whom she married Aug. 28, 1976. Also surviving are two children, Selena, wife of Joseph Urey, of Greenville and Nathanael Habbyshaw of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Also surviving are her mother, Lyla Lee Ryder of Mercer; a brother, Mark Ryder and his wife Jennifer, of Grove City; and two grandsons, Hunter and Karsen Urey.

She was preceded in death by her father and her dog, Sadie.

Mrs. Habbyshaw was employed by USIS investigations as a secretary and also the New Fellowship Baptist Church in Mercer as a secretary.

She loved her family, animals and the church

<B>HABBYSHAW </B>— A memorial service for Kim D. Habbyshaw, who died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the New Fellowship Baptist Church, 1201 W. Market St., Mercer. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Jackson Township, Mercer County.Arrangements are by the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home,</B> Mercer.
