Most of the problems in the American auto industry can be traced right back to the democratic party. They impose rediculous cafe standards on the American companies that foreign based companies don't have to abide by. The rediculous notion that our planet is warming is behind most of this. Democrats use fear mongering on the climate to gain greater control of all our lives. The green movement is nothing more than left over communists from the collapse of the Soviet Union. Why do hard working Union guys continue to vote for a party who is beholden to the very people who are destroying their careers? One of the big mysteries of life I guess. R.I.P. american auto industry. Sure the job banks etc contributed to the problems, but the final dagger in the heart of these companies was the government cafe standards.
