Union's Booth nets 1,000th point

Union junior forward Scott Booth poured in 35 points in Friday's 61-58 boys basketball win over Karns City.

The total puts Booth over 1,000 points for his varsity career.

Neil Scott had 23 rebounds and completed a three-point play to put Union (9-4, 10-6) ahead for good with two seconds left in the game.

Brandon Collier scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead KC (3-8, 3-9), while Evan Olszak contributed 15 points and 10 boards.
