Ernest James Boyd Jr. died at birth on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was the son of Ernest J. Boyd Sr. of Butler and Brianna Elaine Hoover of Butler.

Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Michelle Hoover of Butler; maternal grandfather, Randall Fair of Butler; paternal grandparents, Robert and Valerie Boyd of Butler; maternal great-grandparents, Carol Hoover and John Sloboda of Butler; maternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Honse of Butler; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Artman of Chicora; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Joanne Boyd of Gainesboro, Tenn.; and paternal great-grandfather, Albert Barker of Newport News, Va.
