Mary 'Marie' Ross
Mary "Marie" Ross, 70, of Butler died at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 15, 1938, in East Butler, the daughter of the late Francis A. McCorry and Esther (Beneigh) McCorry.
She was a member of the St. Wendelin Catholic Church.
She had been a cook at various restaurants and enjoyed playing cards, Scrabble and doing crossword puzzles.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Michael (Raylene) Sieffert of West Sunbury; a son and his wife, James R. and Debra Ross of Slippery Rock; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Theodore (Cinda) Young of East Butler; and a brother, Donald "Mac" McCorry of Carbon Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Ross, who died March 16, 1984; and a brother.
<B>ROSS</B> — There will be no visitation. Memorial services for Mary "Marie" Ross, who died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the All Saints Lutheran Church, 351 S.
