NEW HOLLAND — A Pennsylvania man and woman seeking leniency on public drunkenness fines have been cited for public drunkenness in the judge's office.

Jeffrey Goepfert, 46, and Tina Bryson, 46, both of Coatesville, visited District Judge Rodney Hartman's office in New Holland on Wednesday. They were responding to a notice over fines Goepfert owes for an October public drunkenness conviction. Police gave Breathalyzer tests and say the two had blood-alcohol levels above the legal limits for driving. Goepfert and Bryson pleaded guilty to new charges of public drunkenness.
