Amazing what can be accomplished by a school board and School administrators when they take the teachers contracts into thier own hands, and LEAVE the LAWYERS OUT OF IT! Tom King is the solicitor of this district, but the administrators DID NOT INVOLVE HIM IN THE NEGOTIATIONS and they were able to extend their contract by 5 years.

Maybe the administrators of South Butler should get involved and get there contract dispute resolved!

South Butler proposed 2.5 or something in that range...DISGUSTING!

South Butler standardized test scores have been, and continue to be higher than either of these districts, yet, the board offers the already lowest paid teachers in Butler County such a low number. It is a slap in the face to the teachers, and it should be considered a slap in the face to the community!

Our teachers are at least as good as those others, but the Board chooses to critize and make them look bad in the media.

There was no talk of raising taxes when the Board wanted to spend 10 Million dollars on renovations that are not necissary, but they cry that if the teachers get any more money, we have to raise taxes! When confronted with this, the board decided to "suspend discussion and plans on the renovations" I'll bet once the contract is settled, it will be back on within a year...and guess who will be blamed for the tax increase!!
