Tanner, Weibel
Jessica Tanner and Jason Weibel were united in marriage July 19 at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church in Smethport. The Rev. Vincent Cieslewicz officiated. A reception followed at the Court of Angels in Smethport.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Barb Tanner of Turtlepoint. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Nanette Weibel of Karns City.
The honor attendant was Stephanie Bockoras of Bradford. Bridesmaids included Maggie Giambia of Potomac, Md.; Ambr Kubala of Oakland and Lorinda Smith of Turtlepoint. Flower girls were Courtney and Morgan Shade of Bradford.
Performing the duties of best men were William Weibel of Karns City and William Shultz of Indiana, Pa. Ushers were Jeremy Tanner of Turtlepoint and Andrew Prengaman of West Sunbury. Ring bearer was General "Jovi" Mufasa Weibel, the couple's yellow Lab.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Port Allegany High School and a 2006 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University. She works for Primrose Schools in Charlotte, N.C.
The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Karns City High School and in 2003 from Indiana (Pa.) University. He works for the Chesterbrook Academy in Mooresville, N.C.
Following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple is making their home in Huntersville, N.C.
