ERIE — A girl was injured from gunfire at a high school basketball game.

Erie police say the girl was shot once in the left hip Tuesday night at East High School. The Erie Times-News reports that she appeared conscious and alert as she was wheeled out of the school on a gurney.

No arrests were immediately made. The gunfire came during a boys game against Harbor Creek. The game was called off.
