Harry W. Neithercoat, 78, of Butler died at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27 at his residence.

He was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Mars, the son of the late William John Neithercoat and the late Nancy Bell (Shelley) Neithercoat.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been a welder for Pullman Standard.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are two sons, Richard W. Neithercoat of Butler and Harry E. Neithercoat and his wife, Sandra J., of Butler; a brother, William Neithercoat of Anchorage, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah L. (Reges) Neithercoat, who died Aug. 19, 1992; and two sisters.
