The Butler boys and girls swimming teams suffered losses to Pine-Richland Thursday.

The Golden Tornado boys took a 91-87 loss despite leading the meet entering the final relay. Seniors Jason Clouse and Erik Bergh, along with freshman Matt Goettler, had individual event wins for Butler.

Alex Bauer and Andy Steele turned in good swims as well.

The Tornado girls suffered a 99-79 loss despite getting an event win from Brianna Keelan. Morgan Morrison, Jordan McElhaney and Abby Merhaut also turned in good times.

Butler hosts North Allegheny Wednesday.
