Janet E. Winkler
Janet E. Winkler, 74, of Valencia, formerly of Jeannette, died Friday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born May 19, 1934, in Valencia, a daughter of the late Homer and Velma Crummy Truver.
She was a member of the Glade Run Presbyterian Church, Cooperstown, where she a deacon.
Before retirement, she worked in the delivery department of RC Auto Parts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Paul Smith and Emil Winkler; a son, Russell Smith; a granddaughter, Christi Patricelli; a grandson, Michael Tatarek; and a brother, Raymond Truver.
Janet is survived by seven children, Paul Smith Jr. and his wife, Diane Tatarek, of Jeannette; Michael Smith and his wife, Alva, of Lancaster; Barbara Henry and her husband, Malcolm, of Greensburg; Cynthia Patricelli and her husband, Robert, of Jeannette; Laurie Riehl and her husband, James, of Delmont; Dolores Nedrow and her husband, Eric, of Jones Mills; and a stepson, Eric Winkler of Valencia; grandchildren, Brian, Christopher and Heather Henry; Lyndsay, Adam and Caitlyn Smith; Robert and Jennifer Patricelli; Alex, Seth and Dylan Nedrow; Amanda Riehl, Emily Chicklo and Olivia Sullivan; two great-grandchildren, Gianna Patricelli and Gino Chicklo; a brother, Theodore Truver of Horsham; a sister, Ruth Ann Orr of New Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Winkler, who died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the <B>Mason-Gelder Funeral Home</B>, 201 N. First St., Jeannette. A funeral service will be held Thursday in the funeral home at a time to be announced.
