"The Music of Ireland," a new concert series at Butler County Community College, will feature the group Celtic Crossroads at 8 p.m. tonight. This group includes performers who step dance, fiddle, and play or sing a variety of Irish and Celtic music.

The Magic of Tim Kutch will take place at 8 p.m. Jan. 24. Tickets are $18 in advance and $22 at the door; students pay $10.
The SRU Dance Department will open its spring semester concert series with a show that includes "Shelter of Presence" by award-winning guest artist Camille Brown, who was in residence at SRU last fall.The remainder of the program will feature SRU student choreographers offering tap, hip hop, contemporary partnering, modern dance and dance technology.Performances will be at 8 p.m. Jan. 29, 30 and 31 in Miller Auditorium. Fiction Family, the duo of Jon Foreman, lead singer of Switchfoot, and Sean Watkins, a founding member of Nickel Creek, will perform at 8 p.m. Jan. 23. in Crawford Hall Auditorium on the GCC campus.Tickets are $18 before the show and $20 at the door.
