In response to Kara's letter on Jan 9th, I myself thought everyone would have forgotten about the indiscretions of Mr. Rasely, and as bad, the public support mayor Stock announced in a TV interview the day after his arrest. She did so from behind the mayor's desk, giving the appearance that the city was somehow behind her. This was very tasteless and I feel this inappropriately injected the prestige of her office into the proceedings. Mr. Rasely eventually pled guilty of indecent assault, corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to minors, yet the mayor still associates herself with him allowing him to participate in the community choir. Mr. Rasely is once again Artistic Director of the Blazing Star Chorus, a position he resigned from shortly after his arrest.

All voters within the city of Butler should be very concerned with Stock's past performance and should question where her priorities lie. She says she wants another term to see some projects finished. Maybe if she was not so busy supporting a child molester some of the projects would be finished.
