Mathilda M. 'Tillie' Graham-Pepler
Mathilda M. "Tillie" Graham-Pepler, 85, formerly of Chicora, died Saturday at Sugar Creek Rest.
Born Dec. 15, 1922, in the North Side of Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Jacob A. Voelker and Regina C. Schurer Voelker.
She was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and the Lancaster Cosmetology School and had been a homemaker. She also had been a hair dresser in Lancaster.
She was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville.
She enjoyed needlework and painting.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Linda) Burke of Worthington and Ms. Susan Graham of Lenhartsville; five grandchildren, Mrs. Stephanie (Tom) Cowley of Allentown, Mrs. Vicky (Michael) Bentley of Lower Burrell, Jeffrey (April) Burke of Worthington, Randall (Angela) Burke of Worthington and Richard Burke of Maryville, Mo.; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Williamson of Grove City and Mrs. Mildred Bertoncello of Slippery Rock.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Graham, and by her second husband, Leland Pepler.
<B>GRAHAM-PEPLER</B> — Friends of Mathilda M. "Tillie Graham-Pepler, who died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>f. Duane Snyder Funeral Home</B>, Worthington. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating. Interment will be at the St. Patrick Church Sugar Creek Cemetery.
