Janet M. Dickey, 82, formerly of South Highland Avenue, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at Cranberry Place of UPMC Passavant Cranberry.

Born Nov. 12, 1926, in Butler, she was the daughter of John S. Graham and Anna C. (Kradel) Graham.

Mrs. Dickey was a member of Meridian United Presbyterian Church.

She was a homemaker. She was a former employee of Troutman's Department Store, Bantam Car Co. and T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Co. as a switchboard operator.

She was a member of Queen Elizabeth Lodge of Rebekah's Lodge 463, and a former member of Meridian's Women Club. She was a former member of Butler Hunting and Fishing Club, past president of Meridian PTA and a deaconess of the church.

Mrs. Dickey is survived by two daughters, Christine Gasparin of Forward Township, and Mrs. Dennis (Nancy) Young of Oakland Township; two sons, Russell Dickey of Butler, and R.J. and his wife, Robin, Dickey of Butler; four grandchildren, Benjamin Gasparin, Megan Gasparin, Shannon Dickey, and Forrest Dickey; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dickey was preceded in death by a brother.

<B>DICKEY</B>— There will be no public visitation for Janet M. Dickey, who died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008.A private funeral service will be held at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B> at the convenience of the family. The Reverend Jeffery A. Curtis, pastor of Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, will officiate.Burial will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
