Betty J. Fehl Hicks, 80, of Evans City died Wednesday at the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

Born in Ellwood City, June 30, 1928, she was the daughter of the Late William A. and Bonnie Irvine Fehl.

Mrs. Hicks was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ of Evans City.

She was retired from the Evans City Elementary School cafeteria.

Mrs. Hicks was an active member of the Evans City Sixty Plus. She and her husband enjoyed going to Florida and camping with friends.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, George Hicks, who she married June 4, 1948; a son, William and his wife, Linda, Hicks of Sewickley; and four grandchildren, C. Michelle Hicks, Jonathan W. Hicks, Kaylyn Hicks and Matthew Hicks.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.
