Vivian Palmer and John Michael Smith

A 2009 wedding is being planned by Vivian Palmer and John Michael Smith, both of New Castle.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Margaret Palmer of Daytona Beach, Fla., and the late Ronald Palmer. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Charmiann Kononchuk of Cranberry Township and the late John Smith.

The bride-elect is a graduate of New Castle High School and Youngstown State University.

Her fiance graduated from Slippery Rock High School and served in the U.S. Navy.
