The following services will be held Christmas Eve, Dec. 24:

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will hold a Christmas Eve service with communion at 6 p.m.

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will hold the following three Christmas Eve services: contemporary worship at 5:30 p.m., traditional worship at 7:30 p.m. and Communion worship at 11 p.m. Nursery will not be available.

Cornerstone Baptist Bible Church, 386 Iron Bridge Road, Freeport, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.

East Butler Presbyterian Church, 9th and Randolph streets, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. Holy Communion will be celebrated. Soloists and the praise choir will perform.

Fellowship Baptist Church, 3727 Oneida Valley Road, Emlenton, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6:30 p.m. Several special music and choir pieces will be performed.

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will hold a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m.

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will hold a children's Christmas Eve service at 4:30 p.m. and a Christmas Eve service with Holy Communion at 10:30 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, will hold three Christmas Eve candlelight services. Music will be performed at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Each performance will be followed with a Christmas meditation. Child care will available for infants and toddlers. Parents should sign up in advance.

Fenelton United Methodist Church, 810 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 6:30 p.m. hosted by McKees Chapel. The Rev. Jeremy Andrews will lead the service.

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will hold a Happy Birthday Jesus worship service at 4 p.m. followed by a traditional candlelight service at 8 p.m. A prelude will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will hold a contemporary Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Children are invited to attend. A traditional Christmas Eve service will be held at 8 p.m. and child care will be provided.

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. with music beginning at 5:45. Communion will be served and children will participate in the sermon.

Memorial Church of Our Father Episcopal, 110-136 Church Road, Foxburg, will hold a Christmas Eve service with Solemn Holy Eucharist at 10 p.m. The service will include soloists and instrumental Christmas music.

Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old West 422, will hold Christmas Eve candlelight services at 4 and 7 p.m. Services will include the poinsettia Christmas tree, special music, candle service and Holy Communion.

New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch Senior High School auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Nursery care will be available for children birth through age 3. The undesignated Christmas Eve offering will be sent to Touching Hearts in Tibet.

New Zion Evangelical Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service with Communion at 6 p.m. The church is on Route 38, five miles north of Emlenton.

Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 Airport Road, will hold a family-friendly Christmas Eve service at 4:30 p.m. Carols and scripture will be shared as the congregation meets the "Whiny Wiseman." The 7:30 p.m. Christmas Eve service, "A Festival of Light," will feature carols, scripture lessons and candle lighting.

North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Church Road, Chicora, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service at 8 p.m. The choir will perform.

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m.

Park United Presbyterian Church, 115 Grandview Ave., Zelienople, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. with communion.

Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, will hold a Christmas Eve service with music starting at 6:30 p.m. Jan Larrick will provide special music. The worship service with communion will begin at 7 p.m.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City, will hold Christmas Eve services at 7 and 11 p.m. Communion will be served at both services.

Summit Presbyterian Church will hold Christmas Eve services at 6 and 8 p.m. Nursery will be provided at the 6 p.m. service. The church is located a few miles south of Butler at Saxonburg Road and Caldwell Drive.

Sunrise Assisted Living of Cranberry, 10 Adams Ridge Blvd., Mars, will host a Christmas Eve Mass at 4 p.m. Bishop Zubik will lead the Mass.

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will hold Christmas Eve festival worship services. The 4 p.m. service will be focused on children and families. The 7 p.m. candlelight service will have special music by the McCandless Bell Choir, and the 10:30 p.m. candlelight service will have special music by the Chancel Choir. There will be a choral prelude prior to the 10:30 p.m. service.

Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave., will hold a Christmas Eve service with prayer at 6:30 p.m. and a service at 7:30 p.m.

Westminster Presbyterian Church (PCA), 420 N. Main St., will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m.

Whitestown Road Baptist Church, 409 Whitestown Road, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.
