Tina and Eric Schmidt

Tina Owens and Eric Schmidt were united in marriage Sept. 27 at the Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler. The Rev. Daniel Maurer officiated. A reception followed at the Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg.

The bride is the daughter of Arthur and Betty Owens of Frenchville. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Elaine Schmidt of Valencia.

The honor attendant was Tanya Clark of West Decatur. Bridesmaids included Megan Owens of Frenchville and Patricia Peoples of Curwensville. Flower girls were Julia Clark of West Decatur and Kara Owens of Frenchville.

Performing the duties of best man was David Alsippi of Indiana. Ushers included Earl Calderwood of Exton and Richard Owens of Frenchville. Ring bearer was Justin Peoples of Curwensville.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Clearfield High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She received a master's in business administration in 2001 from Katz Graduate School. She works for PPM Technologies in Newberg, Ore.

The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Mars High School and in 1998 from Grove City College. He works for Aerotech in Pittsburgh.

The couple are making their home in Gibsonia.
