Dennis J. Kummer
Dennis James Kummer, 58, of White Oak Drive, Renfrew, died at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday in Butler Memorial Hospital. Born April 16, 1950, in Butler, he was the son of Doretha A. Logan Kummer and the late Henry S. Kummer Jr.
Mr. Kummer was a telephone lineman for the North Pittsburgh Telephone Co.
He was a member of the Meridian United Presbyterian Church and the VFW in Evans City.
He enjoyed motorcycles, vintage John Deere tractors and restoring VW Bugs.
Mr. Kummer is survived by his three sons, Todd Kummer of Pittsburgh, Mark Kummer of Milton, Fla., and Brian Kummer of Butler; his mother, Doretha A. Kummer; one grandchild, Benjamin Kummer; his fiancée, Bernice Adams; three brothers, Russell Kummer of Butler, Ronald Kummer of Columbus, Ohio, and David Kummer of Butler; and nine nieces and nephews.
KUMMER — Friends of Dennis James Kummer, who died Wednesday, Nov. 12,2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the THOMPSON MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. J. David Panther of First United Methodist Church officiating.Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
