Amanda Tweed and Horace King III

A Jan. 24 wedding is being planned by Amanda Tweed and Horace King III, both of Kinston, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Roger Tweed and Terry Steighner, both of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Horace Jr. and Helen King of Pink Hill, N.C.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Beaufort High School and is pursuing a degree from Kaplan University. She works for Griffin and Griffin Attorneys at Law in Kinston.

Her fiancé graduated in 1991 from South Lenoir High School. He is pursuing a degree from Pitt Community College. He works for Cooper Interconnect in LaGrange, N.C.
