Mary Hryanda Jaksec, 92, of Penn Township died Wednesday evening at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.

She was born in Pittsburgh, Dec. 9, 1915.

A homemaker, Mrs. Jaksec was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills.

Surviving are a son, Richard S. "Dick" Jaksec Sr., and his wife, Florence, of Penn Township; her grandchildren, Richard S. Jaksec Jr. and his wife, Angela, Catherine Washburn and her husband, Jeffrey, and Nicole M. Jaksec and her stepgrandson, Dale Fennell and his wife, Elizabeth, all of Penn Township and grandsons, Charles Jaksec Jr., Stephen Jaksec and Christopher Jaksec, all in Florida; her great-grandchildren, Ashley Jaksec, Nicholas Romeo, Reese Jaksec and Alex Jaksec; her step-great-grandchildren, Brian and Gabby Fennell and Courtney Lynn; and her great-great-granddaughter, Jade Janssen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jaksec, who died in 1985; a granddaughter, Diane Marie Jaksec; and two step-grandchildren, Julie and Brian Fennell.
