Schnur, McCance
Halee Schnur and Trevor McCance were united in marriage Aug. 9 at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. A reception followed at the American Legion in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Sissy Schnur of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Gail McCance of Butler.
The honor attendant was Kala Schnur of Butler. Bridesmaids included Stephanie Madden of Butler, Jessica Karenbauer of Butler, Savannah McCance of Butler, Hannah Just and Sarah Just, both of Virginia Beach, Va. Flower girl was Hannah Titley of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Matt Wilcox of Guys Mills. Ushers included Marcus Surin of New York, Donnie Giebel of Butler and Charlie Cilinski of Atlanta. Ring bearer was Brandan Nicholas of Rootstown, Ohio.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of Clarion University. She works as a math teacher at Moniteau High School.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Butler High School and in 2006 from Clarion University. He also received his master's in business administration in 2006 from Clarion University. He works for Burns and Burns.
The couple are making their home in Knox.
