Hicks, Murray
Lorae Hicks and Stephen Murray were united in marriage May 31 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot. The Rev. Jason Hoerth officiated. A reception followed at the Four Points Sheraton, Pittsburgh North.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Jill Hicks of Brockway and Donna Lewis of Philadelphia. Parents of the bridegroom are Bud and Connie Murray of Cabot.
The honor attendant was Lindsay Ashcroft of South Carolina. Bridesmaids included Dulcie Swope of Luthersburg, Megan Doerfler of Warrendale, Brittany Reiter of Reynoldsville and Jessica Basile of Chippewa. Flower girl was Errica Sedor of DuBois.
Performing the duties of best man was Eric Murray of Greensboro, N.C. Ushers included Robert Klemens of New Brighton, Eric Starkweather of New Brighton, Ayo Adisa of Pittsburgh and Richard Bierer of New Brighton. Mason Ashcroft of South Carolina was the ring bearer.
The bride and groom are graduates of Slippery Rock University. The groom works as a store manager in High Point, N.C.
The couple are making their home in High Point.
